Burnsville, United States Data Sales Co. Full time

The successful candidate will help Data Sales Co’s Equipment Leasing Team by providing top-tier legal expertise on contractual and legal matters including Portfolio Auditing and Compliance, Lease Defaults, Workouts and Bankruptcy Management. This position reports in person to our Burnsville, MN facility.


The Main Responsibilities of this Position are:

  • Creation, modification and review of legal documents including Master Lease, Lease Schedules, Amendments Merger and Acquisition/Assignment Agreements;
  • Monitor and track lease portfolio issues including payment performance, prepare and manage default process including up to and through litigation;
  • Perform account compliance and documentation audits;
  • Coordinate and manage bankruptcy filings;
  • Portfolio administration and bankruptcy reporting;
  • Internal and external customer service including legal representatives and vendor contacts


Requirements:

  • Completion of a paralegal certification program and 5 years of paralegal experience in administration of contracts, legal business agreements and bankruptcies. 4 year degree preferred ;
  • Previous experience with legal contracts, lease documentation and bankruptcy documentation
  • Equipment lease experience strongly preferred


Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Products. Candidates may be tested in regards to their Word, Excel and Access skills. Knowledge of Salesforce is helpful;
