  1. Business Process Analysis & Documentation:
  • Quickly learn and understand financial business concepts by reviewing existing documentation.
  • Document new processes and business requirements related to CLIENT financial systems for the PALM project.
  • Create requirements traceability matrices to map requirements to test cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to document detailed test plans and ensure clear communication.
  1. Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Design and execute various test methodologies to ensure the CLIENT financial systems function properly after the PALM implementation.
  • Perform ad hoc testing to identify and document defects.
  • Maintain and execute test cases/scripts, ensuring minimal defects are encountered by business customers.
  1. Collaboration & Communication:
  • Facilitate work sessions with SMEs to determine the impact of PALM changes on CLIENT accounting systems and processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Business Support Program Manager.
  • Assist in SME training using a train-the-trainer approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, Testers) to develop scalable and efficient solutions using Oracle eBS.
  1. Project Documentation & Deliverables:
  • Document and maintain project deliverables such as business process crosswalks, test plans, user acceptance documents, defect logs, and project workbooks.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to SMEs and maintain updated issue registers, change logs, action items, and decision logs.
  • Contribute to lessons learned during each project phase.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related IT fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale software projects.
  • Proficiency in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), meeting facilitation, and requirements documentation.
  • Strong experience in designing quality test processes and using JIRA for defect documentation and resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Accountability to the Business Support Program Manager for all project phases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience with MS-Project, MS-Visio.
  • Business Analysis certifications (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PBA).
  • Experience in Business Data Analytics.

Deliverables:

  • System deliverables as required by CLIENT.
  • Documented and executed test plans, crosswalks, defects, project workbooks, issue registers, change logs, action items, decision logs, and lessons learned.
