Role Description

This is a full-time role as a financial analyst at Piscani Consulting Services in Reading, PA. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and ambitious individual to join our team. This role offers a chance to work directly with small and medium business clients, conducting in-depth analysis, participating in strategic planning, creating financial models, building dashboards, and more. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning, eager to service small and medium businesses, and driven to help them maximize their value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analyses for clients, providing insights and recommendations to enhance their business performance.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and client financial data.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning for clients.
  • Perform valuation exercises to assess the financial health and potential of client businesses.
  • Manage invoices and suppliers for client projects, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services.
  • Participate in the long-term strategy planning for Piscani Consulting Services, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Other ad hoc tasks and analysis as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and business performance.
  • Basic understanding of valuation methodologies, discounted cash flow analysis, NPV, and IRR
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop business models and financial forecasts incorporating sensitivity and scenario analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping small businesses succeed.
  • A self-starter, willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
