Capstone Search Advisors has partnered with a national law firm client in their search for an accomplished Intellectual Property Associate to join their dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intellectual Property Associate to join our client's thriving practice in Cleveland, Ohio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis on intellectual property issues
  • Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
  • Managing trademark portfolios
  • Providing strategic advice to clients on intellectual property protection and enforcement
  • Assisting with intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar (or eligibility for admission by motion)
  • 2-5 years of experience in intellectual property law, including patent prosecution and/or trademark matters
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectations
