Role Summary: The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems. You will collaborate closely with senior management to identify and implement technology solutions that drive productivity, efficiency, and security across the organization.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the design, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, and cloud-based solutions. (e.g. Email, data backup, cyber security, file storage, Microsoft applications, phones, networking)
  • Industry Technology: Oversee and manage industry specific technology (e.g. Meltwater, Citrix, Cision)
  • Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and long-term vision, including the buildout of IT architecture for the Digital division.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan (BCDR) to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a system failure or disaster.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of all IT systems, including data protection, access control, and disaster recovery planning. Audit all existing processes and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-efficiency while delivering high-quality IT services.
  • Vender Relationships: Collaborate with third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.
  • IT Policies and Procedures: Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor your team by fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization.
  • User Support: Ensure prompt and effective IT support for all employees, addressing technical issues and providing guidance on IT-related matters.


Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ yrs) in leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing IT teams and projects.
  • Knowledge of PR web-based software (e.g. Meltwater, Cision, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency in IT budget management and vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment and admin portal.
  • Must be able to work during non-standard business hours including weekends and holidays when required.
