By offering an integrated aesthetics & wellness center, OAW’s services and products address a critical unmet need and appearance related side effects caused by chemotherapy. Tailored to restore an innate sense of beauty, OAW adopts a holistic ayurvedic approach to beauty, bridging the gap between aesthetics, wellness and healthcare. We are seeking a highly motivated Hair Assistant (no experience required). This an excellent opportunity to use your creativity while gaining hands-on experience in hair care, styling, extensions and hair recovery treatments.
● Hair Coloring
- Extensions/Wig Coloring
● Hair wash/ blow-dry
Hair Extension preparation: includes the following: allocating, coloring (if necessary), washing, blow-drying, and tipping hair
● Hair Extension preparation: wefts and hair tipping/ re-tipping
● Organization/sanitation of workstation
● Washing towels, color bowls and other supplies used for hair styling and coloring
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Role Description
You WILL NOT be contacted if you have frequently switched jobs and can not provide previous verifiably reference.
We specialize in Hair Recovery options for women who have experienced hair loss from varies conditions primarily cancer. You DO NOT need to be a cosmetologist to apply just a SINCERE interest in all aspects of hair and helping young girls and women. We will train you if you can demonstrate authentic passion, creativity and a desire to began a career.

**This will be a 6 month Part-Time 1099 training prior to being offered a full time position with an increase in pay with benefits.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and follow though a must
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Experience or interest in the healthcare or beauty industry is a plus
- Knowledge working with hair extensions or replacement is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
