Provide engineering support for the following disciplines: labor management, warehouse management, automation, PLC, supply chain solutions, productivity improvements, cost savings, ergonomic improvement. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of WMS improvement
- Development of automation augmentation
- Improve storage and throughput capacity
- Develop improvement project with an ROI through to an on-time completion
- Development of labor standards and measurement
- Perform time in motion studies
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, Industrial preferred
- 2-3 years working in a Distribution environment
- Facility planning Design and layout. New Build, 3PL’s or building enhancement.
- Experience with CAD software – Autocad preferred.
- Lean Six sigma certification.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Computer skills, Software knowledge, Equipment experience…
- Understanding of office systems (including computers and relevant software packages)
- Ability to use SQL or BI tools for analytics to support business.
- Strong communication skills
