Position Title: Operations Assistant

Pioneer Power Group is one of the leading electrical engineering firms in the Mid-Atlantic for Power System Studies and we are looking to add to our team.We are a talented engineering team with a focus on customer care and we provide solutions to customers within the electrical industry to build or renovate facilities across the nation. We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant to handle supporting the entire engineering team and Ops in critical business tasks, to ensure seamless client delivery and ensuring the back end systems are updated as we use those to maintain or client flow and project flow.

We are a fast-moving growth business and grew 40% last year with a goal to double in size again in two years. We are looking for this individual to work within a small team to continue to grow the client base in a variety of ways. Some of the activities include components of operations, engineering, and other business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming purchase orders each day. Requires coordination with engineering, finance & the quotes team.
  • Help to manage open projects through our Stagnant Project process. This will require coordinating with customers, engineering, and the operations teams.
  • Learn how to print arc flash labels to be able to provide back up support when needed.
  • Additional support tasks as needed such as: entering customer quote date information in CRM, coordinate all Certificate of Insurances requests from customers, manage vendor certification package requests, coordinating with vendors to schedule additional services such as data collection, monthly updates of commission files, etc.


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a professional services environment, electrical industry preferred
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Passion for customer service and client success
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability, professionalism, and good judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel is a MUST
