Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a R&D Cosmetic Chemist at Lady Burd Cosmetics in Farmingdale, NY. The Cosmetic Chemist will be responsible for formulating and developing cosmetics/skincare/hair care/ personal care products, conducting product stability testing, analyzing raw materials, and staying updated on industry trends. Additionally, the Cosmetic Chemist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Formulation, Chemistry, and Product Development skills
- Experience in product stability testing and raw material analysis
- Experience in color matching
- Knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and trends
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in cosmetic formulation is a plus
- Receptive to feedback
