We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as an RPA Application Developer. In this role, you will be an advocate for automated processes and efficient solutions. This role requires you to be deeply connected with various areas of operations, the management team/staff, and their processes and procedures.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Develop automation solutions from business and technical requirements. Assist in documenting those requirements.
- Create technical documentation, such as context diagrams, design documents, and release procedures.
- Build applications, interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, and integrations as required.
- Possess strong facilitation and presentation skills. Collaborate with internal technical and business resources to share best practices and continually improve automation.
- Assist in governing automation development and drive the end-to-end solution to meet those requirements based on multi-platform technology.
- Responsible for working with complex information systems and developing or modifying existing systems through analysis of business and user needs.
- Build partnerships and serve as the liaison with internal departments on programs to determine business needs and recommend/deliver solutions that provide business value to the organization.
- Code-complete automation, including activities, queues, and all required components.
- Document automation designs, including technical specifications and current/future state diagrams.
- Execute automation testing, including unit testing, and bug fixes. Promote code from development through production tenants.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 10+ years of proven experience in working with IT systems or RPA architectures – developing, designing, and preparing automation development plans.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of RPA tools and cognitive platforms, including but not limited to Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Pega, WorkFusion, and Microsoft Power Automate.
- Ability to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects.
- Experience developing and consuming APIs.
- RPA Developer certifications are preferred but not required (training can be provided).
- 5+ years of programmed process automation in a high-speed development environment, using programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net, with basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) is often preferred.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning is preferred.
- Experience working on cross-functional, enterprise-wide delivery programs.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of business tools and applications, including MS Office Suite, Visio, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Copado, and Jira.
