Electrical Estimator

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely electrical estimates for a wide variety of projects. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Projects bid will include Multi-Family, Data Centers & Mission Critical Systems, Hospitality, Commercial Projects and Tenant Improvements. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely electrical estimates for a variety of projects
  • Work as a member of a collaborative team on bid packages
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering
  • Review and analyze project specifications and drawings
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Use Accubid and Excel to conduct material takeoffs and estimate costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field PREFERRED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in Excel, Accubid, and/or Bluebeam
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Prior experience with large design-build projects
