We are seeking an energetic, driven individual to join our datacenter power and HVAC team. Job Description:

As an Outside Sales Professional specializing in switchgear, busway, busduct, and large UPS, Battery Energy Storage Systems at NSW-PEP, you'll drive business growth and expand market presence in these segments. Sales of these AC power protection and distribution solutions are to end-users, electrical contractors, electrical distributors, VARs, and specialized design-build contractors in the mission critical data center industry. Reporting to the President, you'll develop client relationships, execute sales strategies, and provide technical expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

The primary role is to sell Power offerings to Data Center customers in the Bay Area. Switchgear, Busway, Busduct, Large and Medium Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Static Transfer Switches (STS) and Power Distribution Units (PDU), Remote Power Panels (RPP) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will drive initial sales.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with both existing and prospective clients, striving to fully understand their unique needs and tailor our solutions accordingly.
  • Engage in dynamic meetings and presentations that highlight the value and distinct advantages of our products and services.


Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that not only meet but exceed our revenue targets and significantly enhance our market presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and close deals.


Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:

  • Keep on top of industry innovations and technological advancements, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable guide in our field.
  • Offer unmatched technical support and insightful guidance to our clients, empowering them with the solutions they need to succeed.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to uncover emerging trends and monitor competitor movements, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Analyze sales data to critically assess the impact of our strategies, refining our approach for maximum effectiveness.


Team Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, bringing projects to life through a shared vision and concerted efforts.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, ensuring all team members are aligned and motivated towards achieving our collective objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven success in outside sales, preferably in the power systems industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex power systems and equipment within these segments, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
