Proposal Coordinator


Job Summary:

The Proposal Coordinator will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies and constructions proposals and products for the company. Westland Construction is a growing company with lots of potential. This candidate will be critical in helping Westland present appealing proposals for future projects, thus ensuring the success of the company. This position will work closely with company management and work project directors and other company leaders.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Creating appealing construction proposals for our projects and clients.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Prepares effective job proposals based on market research.
  • Collaborates with project Directors and executives to develop marketing strategies.
  • Oversees the department’s operating budget.
  • Assists in creating and distributing materials related to proposals, training, and marketing.
  • Maintains and periodically updates company website to reflect current trends, projects, and company services.
  • Maintains records of project data
  • Oversees project photography, videography or other relevant company needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with construction proposals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of market developments.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or proposals preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
