Control Engineer

The Electrical Controls Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical power and control systems for production equipment. This role involves installing and supporting PLC-based hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and update electrical control systems
  • Apply knowledge of robotic and automated production processes
  • Follow safety protocols (LOTO, arc-flash) when working with electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
  • Install, support, and configure PLC-based systems
  • Develop electrical designs, schematics, and BOMs; handle installation and debugging
  • Write and update PLC programs

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • Understand UL and NFPA codes
  • Design electrical controls and safety circuits
  • Work with 480V and lower-voltage systems
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing practices
