Job Overview:

Are you ready to lead a social revolution? Bloom is seeking a visionary Head of Social & Content to transform our online presence across social media channels. This position will lead our social media team to establish a cutting-edge social media strategy that drives explosive growth and redefines how we engage with our community. Your goal is to establish Bloom as the go-to health and wellness brand for women, build brand power and support our overall marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social platforms (TikTok, IG, Youtube and LinkedIn), content marketing, social media trends, analytics, and best practices, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Strongly prefer Austin, Texas or Los Angeles, California area

VP of Brand


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Leadership: Define and execute a cutting-edge social media strategy for each platform that amplifies brand awareness, drives engagement, and builds a loyal community.
  • Content Strategy & Innovation: Oversee the creation of bold, scroll-stopping content across platforms, ensuring every post is on-brand, uniquely differentiated, and speaks directly to our audience(s).
  • Community Building: Cultivate an engaged online community through meaningful interactions. Build an insiders program with our hyper engaged community, fostering dialogue and continuous feedback.
  • Community Management: Ensure all comments and inquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner - leading the team on process, on brand voice, and responses.
  • Strong Brand Personality: Ensure’s brand personality and voice is consistent and prominent across all channels. Establish a process for creative commenting on viral moments to insert Bloom into the conversation.
  • Platform Expertise: Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm changes to keep Bloom at the forefront of the digital landscape.
  • Team Leadership: Build and inspire a high-performing social media team, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and impact.
  • Performance Analysis: Set KPIs and leverage data to measure success, optimizing campaigns and strategies for maximum reach and resonance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and creative teams to bring cohesive 360-degree campaigns to life.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, applications, and best practices. Adapt strategies accordingly to ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, PR, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the social media budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI on campaigns and initiatives.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Sprout Social and/or other social listening tools)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development.
