Position – Senior Benefits Administrator

Location – Greensboro, NC 27401

Length of assignment – 6 months with 18+ months extension.

Pay range – $35.00/hr. to $40.00/hr.

Shift – Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm


Duties

  • Oversees employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Key responsibilities include managing benefits enrollment, vendor relationships, and compliance with regulations such as ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA. They analyze costs, implement cost-saving strategies, and communicate benefits information to employees.
  • Additionally, they maintain HRIS data, resolve complex benefits issues, and recommend enhancements to stay competitive in the market.


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of all federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements and other laws affecting benefit programs including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, Section 125, DOL requirements.
  • Retirement plan administration experience.
  • Well versed in Excel and familiar with regulations/compliance (ERISA, ACA, Non-Discrimination Testing, audits, etc.).
  • Proficiency in HRIS applications
  • Open enrollment experience
  • Outsourced vendor project management experience


Preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) is strongly preferred* CBP or CEBS preferred
