The position:

We are currently hiring full time and part time therapists to work in Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Wasilla, please respond to this post if you are interested in working in any of these areas.

We operate a mobile therapy practice, as such you will be required to travel between clients homes or wherever you have decided to provide treatment. This allows for greater creativity, improved understanding of the client's specific needs, enhanced carryover of HEP and education, and improved outcomes for our clientele. We encourage outings and exploration of novel recreation as a means to achieve goals, and will provide the resources to enhance the way you deliver therapy.


About us:

We are an established mobile therapy practice offering therapy in client's homes and in the community. Our largest population that we serve is pediatrics; however, each provider has specialities within our field including behavioral health, pelvic health for adults and pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and lactation. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities for a multidisciplinary approach with all clientele, as we have PT, OT, and SLP on staff.

Jessica White, PT, DPT and Phil White, MS, OTR/L established Therapeutic Health and Home LLC to improve the way therapy is delivered and to create a supportive, equitable, and appreciative work environment for all therapists. Our goal is to ensure that therapists have a positive work environment, are consistently fulfilled and passionate in their profession, and have opportunities for growth and advancement. If at any time you identify a new passion or speciality you would like to explore, we will help identify continuing education and design a path to actualize your goals. 


We adapt to the needs of our therapists and offer a variety of benefits custom tailored to each individual's needs. Not every therapist requires healthcare, nor do all benefit from student loan assistance; we encourage open discussion regarding your financial needs and how we can best meet them. We offer a variety of compensation packages for different caseload levels, including PTO and CEU reimbursement for part time schedules.


Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patients and building your schedule to meet your needs.
  • Documentation including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes in SOAP format, including administering standardized assessments, and adherence to federal/private payer regulations.
  • Communication with patients/caregivers, doctors, and allied health professionals, to ensure our patients get the best possible care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Experience in treating pediatric clients is preferred
  • Preference given to those with an active AK state PT license
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Compensation/benefits: $84 per treatment hour

  • 25 treatment hours per week
