Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst. This is a full-time, permanent role with a growing manufacturing and distributor. This role will have high visibility to senior level leadership and the scope of the role will expand as the employer continues to grow.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze distribution data, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution operations, such as order fill rates, on-time deliveries, and inventory turnover.
  3. Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels across distribution centers and warehouses to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce carrying costs.
  4. Transportation Optimization: Evaluate transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs and improve delivery efficiency. Identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization of shipments.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline distribution processes and improve operational efficiency. Implement best practices and recommend technological solutions to enhance distribution capabilities.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing distribution performance, trends, and insights. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in distribution analysis, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
  • Knowledge of distribution principles, inventory management techniques, and transportation logistics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
