We are searching for a Designer l on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. The person will be assisting with the distribution design, work with other experienced designers and process work orders. The person will be responsible to assist with a wide range of design and/or field support activities, including the process of the core billing functions (CIAC process), policy audit documentation and requirements, refundable reviews and other work as defined to ensure core business needs are being met and operational excellence is achieved.

Hybrid position: in office 3 days and Fri/Mon remote.

Responsibilities

• Creates, updates and revises sketches, working drawings and contract documents software or manual means of drafting to meet customer requirements.
• Prepares 2D and 3D models.
• Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications.
• Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor.
• Prepares documentation to support design drawings.
• Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.
• Perform data entry and tracking of refundable work orders and provide capital budget reporting to various departments and ensure a high level of accuracy within all operating systems to support data integrity and process adherence.

Requirements

• GIS or designing experience.
• Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
• Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints.
• Microsoft Office 365
• Must have Interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Self-starter and have attention to detail.
