As the Sales Director of Silicone Polymers, you will have the autonomy to recommend and establish sales relationships across various industries like aerospace, industrial, automotive, electrical, textiles, personal care, medical, coatings & adhesive, release agents, sealants, photo, printing, etc.

As a member of our Sales team, you will stay abreast of the latest technology in sustainability, industries trends in silicone polymers and targeting our existing Customer base and tapping into new prospects. Highly visible to senior leadership, you will strive year over year for continuous improvement in the Sales department by understanding our product lines and tap into new prospects and developing existing Customer relationships. You will chart a course of continued success by educating and updating our staff on new developments in the sales and marketing of our products Customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

· Developing a Sales and Marketing strategy with our existing product lines.

· Provide feedback to our R&D department from what our prospects or customers are looking for.

· Compile and evaluate market demands of silicone polymers and present them to upper management.

· Consult with technical director and R&D manager of sample creation results and communicate proper course of action to Customers/prospects.

· Maintain our sample program with follow ups and continued interactions with customers and prospects requesting samples.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in silicone polymers sales and marketing.
  • Experience working with diverse polymer materials such as adhesive, gels, foam, coatings, sealants, release agents, etc.
  • Chemistry degree a plus and five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Primary knowledge of Silicone Polymers.
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
  • Passionate about taking the company’s best practices to a higher level of performance.
  • Strong analytical and scientific skills and ability to learn applications of products.
  • Computer literate in Windows-based database programs and MS Office products
  • ERP experience or CRM experience a plus.
  • Possess excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multitask independently.
  • Ability to make independent judgments to manage and facilitate company programs/policies as they relate to the Sales department.
  • Positively interact and influence front-line supervisors and field personnel to create a standardized work environment.
  • Leadership skills and a proactive mindset and not reactive.
  • Project management experience a plus.
