Job Description: As a Construction Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects. Working closely with project managers and other team members, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of administrative tasks throughout all project phases.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  2. Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication regarding project status, deadlines, and requirements.
  3. Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs, and preparing reports to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
  4. Schedule Coordination: Support project scheduling efforts by helping to establish timelines, monitoring progress, and identifying potential delays or conflicts.
  5. Procurement Assistance: Assist with procurement processes, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries of materials and equipment.
  6. Subcontractor Management: Assist in the management of subcontractors, including prequalification, contract administration, and compliance with project requirements.
  7. Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts by documenting inspections, tracking deficiencies, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
  8. Safety Compliance: Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, conducting safety inspections, and facilitating training as needed.


Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  2. 1-3 years of experience in construction project administration or a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam).
  4. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practices.
