Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Neuro RN at Lifespan, located in Providence, RI. The Neuro RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams. The Neuro RN will also be responsible for patient education, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Rhode Island
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a registered nurse
• Experience in neurology or a related specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• BLS certification
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or higher
• Advanced certifications in neurology or a related specialty are a plus
