What does a successful .Net Architect /Project Lead do at Fiserv?

Become a key player in The Carat B2B Enterprise Products team, where we revolutionize the business payments landscape for large and mid-sized B2B sellers. Our flagship product, SnapPay, seamlessly integrates with clients' ERPs and e-commerce platforms, automating financial workflows to save time and reduce manual effort. As a .Net Architect / Project Lead, you will be instrumental in driving the development of both existing and new product functionalities. Your leadership will shape our multi-year roadmap and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, propelling our market success.


What you will do:

  • As one of our Engineering leads, you will support and evolve existing product use cases, and develop new ones to enhance product functionality for our clients and partners.
  • Play a key role in shaping our multi-year product roadmap by directly enabling our product strategy throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with our product, sales, and engineering teams to develop our roadmap of capabilities and bring them to market.
  • Create comprehensive design documents that outline specifications and plans for new solutions.
  • Provide senior-level systems design, development, consultation, and support.
  • Utilize your application design knowledge and methodologies to convert business requirements and logical models into technical designs.
  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and assess any technical risks, while proposing the order and contents of development iterations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to colleagues, users, and staff.


What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOC 2, Hitrust, PCI, and SDLC processes.
  • Experience in architectural design, particularly in multitenant SAAS solutions and scaling REST APIs.
  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including .Net, SQL, and Azure.
  • Experience in ASP.Net REST Services, ASP.Net MVC, and responsive design.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Identity Foundation, Microsoft Unity Framework, Microsoft Extensibility Framework, and Microsoft Enterprise Library.
  • Experience with .Net 4.x, .Net Core 6+, C#, ASP.Net, React, Microservices, Kafka, Redis Cache, CosmosDB, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues collaboratively with the team.


What would be great to have:

  • Hands on experience in handling client data PII in cloud platform (Azure, Snowflake, AWS or Google cloud).
  • Experience hosting and managing applications on IIS Web server.
  • Experience in UI/UX design, reporting/dashboarding/data retrieval preferred.
  • Comfort with technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues with payment processing systems.

  • We’re better together This role is fully on-site (all 5 days in the office) for the first 90 days and Monday through Thursday after that (Fridays can be optional).
