Education and Experience:

Inspection Background and API 580

5 years of related experience, including creation and/or organization of electronic filing systems in a petrochemical and/or industrial environment, research and management of electronic information, and experience using an electronic document control system (such as PCMS) required.

Experience using Excel to manage PCMS data associated with large projects, including experience importing and exporting data required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees CAD (computer-aided drafting/design), data entry, record maintenance, and document analysis in support of the On-stream program.
• Participates as a member of the Change Management/Evergreen team to oversee the CAD and data entry requirements to keep Mechanical Integrity documents up-to-date.
• Oversees CAD work to create new drawings or change existing drawings in support of the On-Stream program.
• Oversees data entry by authorized users in the Plant Condition Monitoring System (PCMS) to set up new equipment and piping with corrosion monitoring locations (CMLs) and create events with attachments to document On-Stream inspections and thickness measurements.
• Coordinates the transmittal of documents in and out of the PCMS, and assists end-users with locating requested documents, drawings, etc. within the PCMS.
• Audits data in PCMS frequently for accuracy of critical fields.
• Analyzes change documents identified in the “Inspection Data Base” (management of change (MOC) documents, replacements in kind, etc.) to determine specific tasks required to accomplish the updates of data and documents within PCMS and electronic equipment records folders
• Once specific tasks are identified, prioritizes and schedules work in order to meet established deadlines and ensure updates are made.
• Communicates clearly with Change Management team members, both verbally and within the Inspection Data Base, to maintain efficient workflow.
• Contacts employees, contractors, etc. as required to obtain necessary information for input into PCMS.
• Audits CAD and data entry output to assure quality and accuracy.
• Participates as a site representative and works with Corporate implementation team to standardize PCMS implementation across all sites and improve the organizational structure within the system, including how information is stored, searched, and accessed.
• Works with the reliability group to develop and implement work processes, manage all pertinent records related to daily maintenance, turnaround, and capital projects, and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Works with PCMS vendor/creator to implement and understand updates to the system.
• Ensures data in PCMS data fields and electronic CAD folders are up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensures modifications and changes made to existing records maintained within the Inspection Database are documented in a complete and traceable manner.

Knowledge of inspection and maintenance activities and records within a refinery Mechanical Integrity program.

Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a multi-disciplined team, and schedule work to meet deadlines based on evolving priorities.
