BSS Architect Consultant

As a Product Consultant Architect, you will play a critical role in identifying new opportunities, manage client engagements and delivering innovative solutions to clients.

Your expertise in BSS, Charging, and Mediation domains will be instrumental in driving successful customer engagements.

You’ll work with sales teams by providing them technical expertise and thought leadership.

You will collaborate with colleagues across different product lines to ensure successful delivery of integrated solutions.

Responsibilities:

Technical Solution Design:

Subject matter expertise to define a global BSS strategy, including high level architecture and building blocks

Develop end-to-end solution architectures for key sub-domains, including Billing, Charging, Mediation, Order Management, and Revenue Assurance.

Presales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and translate them into detailed technical offerings.

Lead technical discussions during customer interactions, including RFP (Request for Proposal) responses.

Conduct tailored product demonstration to Technical and Executive levels as appropriate to their areas of interest.

Deal Closure:

Leverage your proven track record to drive successful deal closures.

Work closely with sales teams to position our solutions effectively against competitors.

Defend our solution architecture against Tier 1 vendor offerings (e.g., Amdocs, Netcracker, Openet, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, Matrixx).

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product, Operations, and Support, to ensure seamless customer success.

Optimize resource allocation for pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical, Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.

Certifications: TMForum, PMP, TOGAF, ITIL certification is desirable.

Experience:

10+ in telecom BSS work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Presales or Solution Architecture roles to Tier1 North American/Western Europe MNOs.

Deep Architectural knowledge of Charging, Billing, and CRM.

Proficiency in SOA, UNIX/LINUX, and relational/nosql database systems.

Exposure to vendor solutions and competitive analysis.
