Job Description:
Main Tasks:
- Small scale Perfumery General Compounding support for both local and global formulae
- Prepare fragrance compounds by precisely weighing accurate formulae ingredients using automated system
- Ensuring all ingredients are quality and within expiration date
- Perform other lab and project tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisors
- Maintain an organized collection of Raw Materials
- Be able to help out with overflow work when volumes increase
- Maintain a clean and well organized laboratory/work place
- Identify inefficiencies and propose viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guidelines
- Assure compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety
- Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat, closed toed shoes) and follow safety protocols
- Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.
- Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.
- Contribute to team success – Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Previous Experience:
- 0-5 years in a laboratory/compounding environment
Competencies:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime (where needed)
- Detail & Service orientated to meet deadlines
- Ability to pivot priorities as needed
