Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management Support: Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including organizing and maintaining case files.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize legal documents.
  • E-Filing: File documents electronically in state, federal, and appellate courts.
  • Confidentiality: Manage confidential files, records, and reports.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process time entries, billing, and submit intake and conflict checks.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain attorneys' schedules, organize travel arrangements, and coordinate meetings and conferences.
  • Additional Tasks: Take on other duties as assigned to support the team.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of civil litigation experience required, with California-specific experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional; experience with iManage and Compulaw is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and procedures, including e-filing and calendaring.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, proofreading, and client service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize based on urgency, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.


Compensation + Benefits:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $41 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and market factors.
