Position Summary

The Director of Operations will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of Host Pros’ 60+ short-term rental listings, as detailed below. It is absolutely essential that this person be an independent problem solver, be comfortable making decisions, enjoy learning new things, have strong people-management skills, and love delivering amazing experiences to guests and clients. You will report directly to the company’s Co-Founder and CEO, with the expectation that you are the primary person accountable for the day-to-day success of the company.


Base Pay: $65K/year - $75K/year

Bonus Pay: based on company profitability

Other Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off;

Days Working: Wednesday - Sunday, and on call


Responsibilities: 

  1. Manage the Operations Team
  2. Manage the Maintenance relationships
  3. In charge of operations of all of our properties and have an in depth knowledge of them
  4. Be situationally aware of concerns such as weather, seasons, and other factors to prepare our listings for different events
  5. Manage the relationships with our cleaners. Find and hire new teams/cleaners
  6. Miscellaneous Guest Experience stuff at the properties as needed. 
  7. Manage relationships with our vendors such as Guesty, Touchstay, and Breezeway
  8. Manage training program for Guest Experience, Cleaning, Onboarding/QC, and Runners
  9. Lead the weekly L10 Meeting
  10. Have Operations Team weekly meeting


 Results:

  1. Maintain an overall review rating of 9.70 across all of our listings
  2. Annual profitability target 
  3. Direct reports all hit their goals


Requirements:

  1. Need to be to be able to problem solve independently
  2. Growth mindset
  3. Has experience managing people 
  4. Capable of working in a fast paced environment and in stressful situations.
  5. Ability to make decisions independently
  6. Must be located in Northeast Ohio
  7. Must be able to drive legally in Ohio and have own car
  8. Must be very comfortable with all forms of technology
  9. General business skills preferred
  10. General knowledge of home maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
