Openings: 30+

Location: Albion, MI

Salary: $17.15/hour

Working Hours: 2 shifts (you pick your shift)

  1. PM 2pm-10pm
  2. Overnight 10pm-6am

Must Haves:

  • Bilingual (Fluent with Spanish and English)
  • 1 year of experience with professional childcare experience, must provide reference
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Check - no DUI, DWI, or child endangerment charges
  • Clear criminal background check and fingerprint
  • Clear drug testing results - this includes being THC free even in legal state
  • In adherence with federal or state contract requirements (as applicable): Proof of COVID Vaccinations and other immunizations (i.e., varicella, measles, mumps, tetanus, Tdap, Rubella, Flu, Hepatitis A and B

Day-to-day:

Youth Care Professional (YCP) is responsible for providing direct care and supervision for unaccompanied children and youth from the ages 10-17. The YCP must ensure that services comply with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) licensing rules and ORR policies. They will be support the Intake Process and assist in assessing and addressing each child’s physical, medical, and behavioral health needs and serve as the child’s first initial contact to ensure that their basic immediate needs are met such as food, bathroom/shower, providing clean clothing and hygiene items, assigning to a dorm room.
