About the Role:

We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to join a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on the development of machine tools. This role will involve creating new product concepts and prototypes, designing and testing mechanical and electronic systems, and enhancing existing mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will leverage a broad range of engineering principles and be motivated by the challenge of innovative problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices
  • Create automated systems and software for control
  • Conduct research, document findings, and present reports
  • Develop design documentation for electromechanical components and final products
  • Lead comprehensive design reviews with senior staff and subject matter experts
  • Participate in workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with industry advancements


Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in creating 2D and 3D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automated equipment or rotating machinery
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude


Other Desirable Skills:

  • Capability to perform mechanical design analysis and calculations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently
  • Familiarity with resource planning tools
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing processes is a plus
