Guidewire Business Analyst

We are seeking a Guidewire Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Guidewire platforms and a solid understanding of insurance business processes. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring Guidewire applications, and coordinating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of Guidewire solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze business requirements to develop detailed Guidewire software requirements and specifications.
  • Configure Guidewire applications based on business needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into system design.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for Guidewire application-related issues.
  • Develop test scenarios, cases, and scripts and execute testing to ensure the Guidewire solution meets business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to business users in the use of Guidewire applications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and adoption of the Guidewire solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guidewire products, insurance industry trends, and business processes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions are functioning as intended.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Guidewire platforms such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
  • Excellent understanding of insurance business processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, preferably Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience with SQL or other database technologies is desirable.
