Position Overview:

Seeking a talented and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with the project management team to create detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules. Assist in developing cost estimates and budget projections for various construction activities.
  • Construction Documentation: Prepare and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and permits. Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procurement and Material Management: Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the construction projects. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Construction Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Address and resolve any construction-related issues and provide technical support as needed.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring that their work aligns with project plans and specifications. Facilitate communication between subcontractors and the project team.
  • Change Order Management: Evaluate and process change orders, modifications, and additional work requests. Assess their impact on the project's budget, schedule, and scope, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, including project status updates, milestones achieved, and upcoming deliverables. Present reports to the project management team and senior leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze project challenges and find practical solutions to overcome obstacles efficiently and effectively. Proactively identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Assurance and Closeout: Oversee the completion and handover process of the project, ensuring all quality standards are met. Assist in conducting post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in construction project management or Superintendent roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
