As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in our care teams, delivering high-quality care to our patients. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train motivated new graduates.


Job Description

  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting with all levels of acuity
  • Perform all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations
  • Work independently and/or as part of a treatment team
  • Interpret medical test results, including EKGs, X-rays, and lab tests
  • Perform a wide range of bedside clinical procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Various types of blocks (digital, dental)
  • Nail procedures (trephination, removal)
  • Wound care (suturing, stapling, using Dermabond)
  • Foreign body removal (from skin and eyes)
  • Splinting fractures
  • Eye procedures (fluorescein exams, irrigation, pH testing)
  • Incision and drainage
  • Speculum examinations (vaginal)
  • STD testing and counseling
  • Digital examinations (vaginal and/or rectal)
  • Tick removal


What We Look For

  • Either Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Emergency Medicine: 1 year (preferred)
  • Internal Medicine: 1 year (preferred)
  • Degree - MSN, DNP, or post-master certificate with a nurse practitioner specialization
  • Active Wisconsin Medical License - RN & APN/PA in Medicine
  • RN License
  • Physician Assistant License
  • Active DEA license/ability to apply prior to or upon hire
  • Certifications: BLS & Advanced Life Support Certifications, if relevant to practice area (ACLS & PALS)
