Acuity Associates is pleased to represent is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing firm based in Houston, United States, gearing up for an IPO. Dedicated to pioneering advancements in the bio-pharmaceutical field, they're in search of a skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead their financial strategies and lead their finance team.
In this role, the CFO will be instrumental in crafting their financial roadmap, overseeing all financial facets of the company, including IPO preparation and launch. This senior leadership position calls for a seasoned finance expert with a CPA qualification, substantial background in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, and a proven history of navigating IPO processes.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a mandatory requirement.
- CPA certification is essential.
- Previous experience in preparing for and managing pre-IPO processes is a must.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a significant portion in executive leadership roles within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, is required.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and regulatory standards for financial reporting within the biotech industry.
- Demonstrated track record of leading financial teams and implementing strategic financial initiatives.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities are crucial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration across various functions and levels of the organization.
- Prior experience with public listings in the USA is preferred.
What's on Offer
- $ 400,000 to $ 500,000 base salary
- Performance related annual bonus (STIP)
- Pre-IPO Equity (LTIP) - a market competitive amount, to be disclosed at a later stage in the recruitment process
