DUTIES: Under supervision of lawyers, prepare documents needed for filings with government agencies including legal briefs, forms, and correspondence; manage high volume of cases including monitoring and meeting deadlines, communicating with clients, agents, coworkers, and government agencies, and coordinating preparation and receipt of evidence with multiple parties, and; conduct research.

This position is in-person only at our Ithaca, NY office, but 1 day a week remote work is a possibility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Associate’s degree or higher

·       Strong research and writing skills

·       Ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining high level of productivity.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.

·       Flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Two or more years of experience as a paralegal in a professional office

·       Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business related field
