Reporting to the Chief Brand Strategy Officer, the Vice President, Strategy and Market Intelligence will drive insights and lead initiatives that help position the organization to accomplish its strategic objectives. The VP will partner with executive and senior leaders to identify opportunities and strategies to meet market demand and achieve desired results.


Areas of responsibility include:

  1. Market insights and analysis: utilize market data, market dynamics, trends, and competitive insights to proactively identify opportunities and barriers, and recommend strategies and tactics to meet objectives
  2. Consumer and patient experience insights: lead consumer/stakeholder research, patient journey mapping, analysis of patient experience data, and oversee execution of the patient and family advisory counsel to identify meaningful opportunities for improvement
  3. Strategic initiatives and planning: identify, develop, and support corporate strategies that align with Adena Health's mission, vision, and goals, and support consistent strategy planning process
  4. Performance monitoring: collaborate with leaders across system departments -- including operations, medical group, finance/revenue cycle, IT, marketing, and others -- to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess and report performance against strategic priorities
  5. Digital strategy and analytics: oversee expansion of the organization's digital channel strategy, leveraging opportunities to connect online consumer engagement, performance, and metrics with organizational objectives
  6. Network development: advance the organization's strategy to grow and develop its regional network with referring clinicians and employers/business partners
  7. Stakeholder management: build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to collaboratively achieve goals, targets, and metrics consistent with strategic and operational objectives


What you will need:

  1. Required Educational Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field
  2. Required Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in market, business, or data strategy and planning, including at least six years working with hospitals or healthcare organizations.
