Traveling Videographer

Brian Christopher (@BCSlots) is the leading influencer / YouTuber in casino gaming, with a thriving online community of over 8 Million monthly viewers. We are seeking a creative and hyper-organized Traveling Videographer & Photographer to join our team at the leading casino gaming influencer company, BC Ventures. This position is full-time, and you will work under the supervision of our Production Manager.

As a Traveling Videographer & Photographer, your primary responsibility will be the ongoing capture, asset management, and editing of video footage for our branded content programs. In collaboration with the Creator, Production Manager, and Social Media Marketing team, you will work to seamlessly execute video programs and sponsored content deliverables.

This role includes domestic and international travel of approximately 10-15 days per month out of Palm Springs, CA with flights, hotels, cruises, food and beverage at excellent restaurants covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in building & maintaining an extremely organized asset library of top-quality footage from casino gaming sessions, sponsored trips, and experiential events.

• Own the end-to-end process of filming and editing top branded entertainment programs for the review and approval of our world-class brand sponsors.

• Capture engaging film towards daily gameplay videos for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok (both vertical/short-form, and horizontal/long-form) following our brand guidelines and using cutting edge effects to captivate a broad, discerning audience.

• Shoot exciting photography for daily video thumbnails, and social media campaigns, taking full direction and completing shot lists from the Social Media Marketing team.

• Apply digital video and editing best practices to the creation of B2C highlight / sizzle reels for our player offerings, and other B2B materials in support of the business.

• Conduct and capture fan testimonial interviews, and assist with fan photography during meet & greets, themed cruises and other in-person events.

• Support the broader Team with flagship events (including on-location) to deliver world class experiences for attendees and sponsors alike.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in videography, video editing, photography, photo treatment, commercial film direction, and post-production.

• Must have superior organizational skills and unmatched attention to details.

• Full proficiency in the Adobe Suite, editing mastery on Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut, working knowledge of the Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, Calendar), and familiarity with social media formats including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

• Expertise in storyboarding and directing scenes/talent, creating narrative and a story arc, with a keen eye for intriguing ways to film while adhering to brand guidelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accurate writing for video captions, and high interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with others, take initiative, meet deadlines with a positive, solution-driven demeanor, and act with professionalism at all times in representation of the brand (externally and internally).

• Capacity to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment, with the necessary flexibility to accommodate travel, and a valid passport for international destinations.
