Individuals will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated cases within the litigation group and assist a team of talented Attorneys and Paralegals. JOB DUTIES

  • Min 1+ years' experience in a law firm setting.
  • Heavy mediation scheduling, telephone conferences, ZOOM meetings, adjournments, response dates.
  • Daily E-filing and E-service in state court.
  • Maintain calendar for assigned attorney.
  • Case management: Importing documents into a document management system.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls.
  • Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Responsible for case management of active files, including reviewing documents for accuracy, scheduling, and docketing requests, and compiling documents to prepare analyses and electronic files.
  • Performs additional duties as instructed and assigned.
  • On-site and punctual attendance required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of court filing and scheduling procedures.
  • This position requires keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet hard deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload and adjust to changing priorities as needed.
  • Ability to deal effectively with external contacts, internal attorneys', co-workers, and is a team player.
  • Proficient and experienced in data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and composition of simple business letters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • State court electronic filing, knowledge of FileSite, a plus.
  • 1+ plus years previous law firm experience in Litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, business English spelling and grammar.
  • Flexibility for overtime when needed.
