Construction Superintendent

The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent to join our client's team in Ocean County, NJ Our client is a well known local homebuilder that offers competitive compensation and growth opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Assist the superintendent in overseeing construction projects from start to finish
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of construction plans
• Collaborate with project team members to coordinate and schedule construction activities
• Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential issues or safety hazards
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project progress

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Supervisor or Assistant Superintendent
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
