We are hiring for an exciting remote contract for a Data Analyst (Corporate Accounting/Finance) role for our client, a global cyber security leader, has redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced cloud-native platform for protecting critical areas of enterprise risk endpoints and cloud workloads, identity and data.

Job Title: Data Analyst (Corporate Accounting/Finance)

Type: 100% Remote Contract

Duration: 6+ Months



What You’ll Need:


  • 10+ years' experience in analyzing financial data within Corporate Accounting/Finance environments, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in financial metrics and KPIs, with the ability to develop insights on trends and provide actionable recommendations to business partners.
  • Advanced skills in and experience with Cloud database technologies like Snowflake or Redshift, tailored for financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience in reviewing and structuring data from both structured and unstructured sources to build datasets for running SQL queries, and visualizing these on dashboards for actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions based on accurate financial data, and drive outcomes.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving issues related to data management to enhance data quality. This includes data cleansing, preparation, and optimization for ingestion and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support data-related technical issues and ensure robust data infrastructure to meet financial reporting needs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.


What You’ll Do:


  • Gather and interpret business requirements from finance stakeholders to determine necessary data and reporting insights.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and views for financial data analysis, pulling from various sources, synthesizing, and formatting data for stakeholder review.
  • Design and execute data analyses to achieve specific business objectives within the finance domain, ensuring clear and concise communication of findings tailored to varied audiences.
  • Desirable: Experience in creating financial reports using visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Desirable: Prior experience in financial roles within SaaS companies, with familiarity in building and interpreting SaaS-related financial metrics.
