Social Media Assistant – Part-Time or Freelance

Are you a creative, trend-savvy individual with a passion for social media and an eye for design? Petit Moments, a leading accessories brand featured on platforms like Revolve, Nordstrom, and Anthropologie, is seeking a talented Social Media Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands how to connect with our audience, and knows how to drive sales through compelling social media strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and schedule engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Confidently appear on camera for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Host and manage TikTok Lives to promote products and engage with the audience.
  • Model for close-up product shots (e.g., showcasing accessories on ears, hands, and neck).
  • Manage and optimize IG + TikTok Shop and marketplace listings.
  • Edit video and still images to align with the brand’s aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative and sales to create and deploy content.
  • Partner with creative teams to develop assets for product launches and social holidays.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and implement them into strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure content resonates with the Petit Moments customer.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and sales.


Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Skilled in video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Canva, Capcut, Capture One or similar).
  • Skilled in photography.
  • An excellent  copywriter, understanding the brand's tone and POV.
  • Strong understanding of Petit Moments' brand identity and target audience.
  • Experience driving sales and engagement through social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging social media trends.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work 15-24 hours per week, with the potential to scale up depending on content needs and upcoming initiatives.


Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience managing TikTok Shops or other social marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
  • Creative thinker with a flair for visual storytelling.
