Leasing Consultant

The Role

As a Leasing Consultant you will create an environment where our residents will love where they live by driving ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our residents. You will report to our Property Managers and support several properties in Greater Philadelphia and Greater Wilmington, DE.

· Greet prospective residents and provide them with tours of available units, showcasing property features and amenities.

· Respond to phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about rental rates, leasing specials, and property details.

· Assist applicants with completing rental applications and collect application fees and deposits.

· Conduct thorough background and credit checks on prospective residents through third party screening vendor.

· Prepare and review lease agreements with new residents, ensuring all required documents are properly executed.

· Coordinate move-in dates and conduct new resident orientations, explaining community policies and procedures.

· Follow up with prospects to gather feedback and answer any additional questions.

· Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, resident interactions, and apartment availability.

· Assist with organizing and hosting resident events to foster a sense of community.

· Collaborate with the property management team to ensure units are move-in ready and address any maintenance or repair issues.

· Stay up-to-date on rental market trends and competitors to assist with setting rental rates and developing leasing strategies with Property Manager.

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

· Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Familiarity with fair housing laws and regulations.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
