Leading manufacturer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to join their growing team in Manchester, NH to oversee their Engineering and Drafting Departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring the successful completion of projects, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.


RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Product Engineering and Drafting Departments.
  • Take ownership of new and existing product designs.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards with error free shop drawings and design packages.
  • Direct department activities to support other departments, design new products, modify existing designs, and manage product design improvement through revision tracking and traceability.
  • Communicate project requirements and provide guidance on design modifications to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


Requirements:

  • BSME degree, preferred, or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role. Required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with structural building materials such as curtain walls, storefronts, windows, composites, sandwich panels, etc. Required
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD. Required.
  • Experience with Project management. Preferred
