  • Perform detailed inspections of aircraft components and systems to ensure compliance with FAA and EASA regulations.
  • Evaluate maintenance and repair activities, including final inspections for return to service.
  • Prepare and issue FAA Form 8130-3 for return-to-service authorizations, as authorized.
  • Document all inspection activities accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address discrepancies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures.
  • Support internal audits and participate in FAA and EASA inspections.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials meet required standards and are properly calibrated.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aviation maintenance is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role within an FAA Part 145 repair station.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, including Part 145, and experience with FAA Form 8130-3.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with EASA requirements is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Knowledge of calibration requirements for tools and equipment.
