About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
The Director of Nursing - Quality Improvement will be responsible for:
- Administrative and operational oversight of performance improvement, and quality outcomes in all Nursing & Patient care areas
- Nursing pathways to excellence journey and magnet designation, including plan, applications, support, and related deliverables
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Nursing experience in an Acute Care Hospital
- Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance & Improvement
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Certification or working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
- Certified Professional Healthcare Quality Certification (CPHQ)
- ANCC Board Certifications
- Experience in Process Analysis, Data Analysis, Project Management and Facilitation
