Job title: Investment Operations Specialist

Location: Saint Paul, MN 55107

Duration: 4 to 5 months contract

Pay range: $22/hour to $23.10/hour


SUMMARY:

Provides quality support to investment sales staff, other internal staff, customers and compliance but responding to and resolving issues, research requests, and compliance questions associated with operations processing of investment related products and services. Supports all investment operations’ procedures and acts as a liaison between back and front office and other staff. Isolates and identifies source of problems. Provides timely resolution to problems to adhere to regulatory requirements and service level agreements. Follows up with internal or external customers ensuring problem resolution. Develops and maintains documentation of all activities.


• Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.

• Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.

• Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.

• Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.

• Verifies account entries, ensures totals balance and prepares correcting adjustments as needed.

• Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.

• Responds to telephone or written inquiries and performs research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers or internal employees.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Three to five years of relevant work experience


PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Strong understanding of investment operations, including manual and automated processes, procedures and systems

• Excellent customer services skills

• Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at deadlines simultaneously

• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

• Strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems

Any chance of working a remote or hybrid schedule? Not currently. This would be an in-office position. We have talked about potentially going hybrid in Q4.


MUST be able to pass FINRA FactFinder extra screening in addition to BG check.
