Mineralife Nutraceuticals offers third-party cGMP manufacturing, custom supplement manufacturing, white label nutritional supplements and custom CBD formulation service. Mineralife manufactures USDA organic supplements, US Hemp Authority certified supplements, our own Zemvelo retail brand and more.


The Mineralife Quality Control Specialist is required to adhere to all Mineralife SOPs, update and execute new processes guided by regulatory standards and investigate non-conformance events, addressing and resolving any concerns. This position will support the Mineralife Team by ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining third-party certifications and facilitating third-party testing, process improvements and other quality measures company-wide.

Essential Functions

Review, Audit and Execute

  • Reviewing documentation adhering to current good documentation practices (cGMP).
  • Ability to identify and investigate and resolve problems and deviations from procedure.
  • Creating, executing and training on standard operating procedures and specifications adhering to internal, local, provincial, and federal requirements, specifically 21 CFR 111.
  • Proactively investigates non-conformances to arrive at reasonable conclusions
  • Reports accurate and meaningful data.
  • Ensures that the QC workflow is timely and efficient.
  • Recommends ideas for improvements in QC and other areas and demonstrates the ability to think beyond day-to-day testing and inspection issues.

Perform and Train on Third-Party Certifications

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand and train on company processes to maintain third-party certifications (cGMP, Organic-Handler, US Hemp Authority, etc.)
  • Samples, inspects, and tests (and/or submits for testing) raw materials, packaging components, and finished products according to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP requirements
  • Implements improved processes for third-party and internal testing validation.
  • Perform internal audit and training in relation to quality system
  • Provides final disposition of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
  • Train technicians on adhering to internal environmental monitoring program, testing program, cleaning and sanitation and more
  • Use business acumen to make strategic decisions in the manufacturing process while adhering to cGMP.


Tracking & Reporting Data

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years previous Quality experience in dietary supplements preferred (hemp/CBD and/or food accepted).
  • Must possess strong knowledge of chemistry, laboratory equipment and/or production process for dietary supplements.
  • Experience assisting or being point of contact for third-party audits and validation preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn order processing and data management software.
  • Strong understanding of maths and chemistry needed to formulate products.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Commitment to honesty and accuracy.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting.

Physical Requirements:
