Position: Financial Portfolio Analyst
Location: Hybrid onsite in Orlando, FL
Duration: Long term contract
Pay Rate: 60.00/hr
Position Overview:
The Portfolio Analyst must be able to elicit, track, and manage cost planning for specific projects. Includes collection of business and user needs, accrual reporting, forecasting, invoice tracking, and client tracking. May also include organization of requirements, estimates, and preparation of materials necessary to support the project funding and kickoff process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of financial experience (forecasting, accruals)
- Experience supporting IT Teams with project financials
- Excel skills
Preferred Experience:
1. Strong excel automation skills
2. SAP
3. MyPPM or clarity
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- experience coordinating, tracking, and reporting technology project financials across multiple teams including:
- maintaining and tracking project budgets, and overall cost control.
- establishing resource plans and translating resource plans into financial forecasts.
- prepare detailed monthly project forecasts, managing project forecast processes and conducting project review meetings.
- proactively identifies issues (data or process) and ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve issues and communications are sent to keep the end user audiences informed and updated.
- ability to build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures.
- ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients.
- analytical skills required, experience with budgets and financial analysis preferred. Preparation of project scoping and funding artifacts in collaboration with delivery and engineering team leads.
