JOB SUMMARY FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST:
- Seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the team of our client in Warren, MI. This will be a hybrid position. Candidates must be local to Warren, or willing to relocate to be onsite day one.
- The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
- You will be apart of the Sales Ops team, going to be investigating learning applications, building ad HOC reporting, loading data from spreadsheets. The day to day changes
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST:
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST:
MUST HAVES:
- Power BI
- Excellent Excel Skills
- SQL experience
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST:
- Some IT experience/systems would be good to have
- Business process
- Degree not necessary, but technical degree is preferred
- Mostly looking at experience over a degree
Preferred:
- Having background with language - R or Python or SQL are helpful
- Developing and writing queries
- Excel macros experience, understanding this process
