Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator with extensive experience in commercial construction to join our clients team in Winston-Salem, NC. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a vital role in accurately estimating project costs, analyzing blueprints, and providing valuable insights to support project planning and execution. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring project profitability and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Cost Estimation: Prepare thorough and precise cost estimates for commercial construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  2. Bid Analysis: Analyze bid documents, specifications, and architectural drawings to identify project requirements and develop competitive bid proposals.
  3. Value Engineering: Collaborate with project teams to explore value engineering opportunities and optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
  4. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand project objectives, clarify requirements, and address inquiries related to cost estimates and proposals.
  5. Data Analysis: Utilize historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to inform cost estimates and enhance the accuracy of estimating processes.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the commercial construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
